Thank you for your interest in joining this year’s Ashika-con lineup! Talent participation at the convention is divided into four distinct categories, each with its own focus and expectations.

Please review the descriptions below to determine which category best aligns with your background, then proceed to complete the Talent Application Form.

Kindly note: All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration.

Special Guest

You are considered Media Talent if you are a professional voice actor, celebrity, or creator actively working in film, television, or the gaming industry. This category may also apply to streaming personalities, but only those with national or global recognition.

Approved Media Talent will be issued Guest Badges for the event.

Featured Talent

You may qualify as Featured Talent if you are an artist, cosplayer, performer, or streamer whose work focuses on Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming.

Featured Talent receive:

* A Talent Badge

* A 6’x8′ space in the Exhibitors Hall, or—depending on availability—a designated area elsewhere within the convention

In return, Featured Talent are required to contribute a minimum of two (2) hours of programming content, which may include:

* Panels

* Workshops

* Serving as a judge for competitions (if requested by the convention)

Note: Musical performers and DJs also fall under this category.

Groups

If you represent a club, organization, fandom convention, podcast, or community group centered around Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming, you may qualify as Community Talent.

Approved Community Groups will receive:

* Talent Badges

* A 6’x8′ space in the Exhibitors Hall

In exchange, Community Groups are expected to contribute at least two (2) hours of programming, which may include:

* Panels

* Workshops

* Serving as a judge for one of Ashika-con’s competitions (if requested)

Influencer

If you have a strong and engaged social media following focused on Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming, you may qualify as an Influencer for Ashika-con.

Influencers will receive:

* A Talent Badge

* Listing under the Featured Talent category

While Influencers do not receive promotional space in the Exhibitors Hall, they are expected to:

* Create and share content before, during, and after the convention

* Contribute at least one panel, workshop, or other programming content

* Be available to serve as a guest judge for a competition, if requested
