Panels presented by fans and subject matter experts are a core part of the Ashika-con experience. Each year, we invite attendees to contribute to our programming by sharing their knowledge, creativity, and passion with the community.
If you’re interested in hosting a panel, please read through the expectations and requirements outlined on this page before completing the submission form. Only one (1) panel submission is allowed per individual or group.
Share Your Voice—But Also Enjoy the Con
Ashika-con values a wide range of voices and perspectives within geek culture. We encourage you to contribute, but we also want to ensure you have time to enjoy the rest of the convention.
If you’re considering hosting multiple panels or a themed series, we recommend applying as Talent instead of as a general attendee. This route includes additional opportunities and responsibilities.
Important Guidelines for Panel Hosts
* All panel hosts must be paid attendees of Ashika-con.
While we deeply appreciate your participation, we do not offer complimentary badges in exchange for a single fan panel. Again, if you plan to present more than one panel, please review the Talent application process.
* Panel topics must align with the Ashika-con theme.
Content should appeal to fans of anime, manga, Asian pop culture, cosplay, tabletop gaming, or video games. Additional details are available on the submission form.
* Panels must be appropriate for a PG-13 audience, unless approved as a designated 18+ panel.
Ashika-con is a family-friendly event. Any content intended for audiences 18 and over must be clearly marked on your submission and will only be scheduled during designated evening hours.
* Scheduling is determined based on the needs of the convention.
We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred time slot. In the event that changes are necessary, we will notify you in advance.
